Beam Display on Floor Plan and Section
Use the Floor Plan and Section page of Beam Settings.
See Element Display in Floor Plan and Section.
Projection Mode
Once you have set Floor Plan Display, use Projection Mode to fine-tune each displayed component (Overhead, Uncut) of the Beam: as either Symbolic or Projected.
Cut parts of the Beam always use Projected display.
•Available options depend on the Floor Plan Display you chose above; some components may be invisible, and you cannot set a display mode for those.
Outlines
•Always Show Outline: Check this to display the contour of this Beam even if the Model View Option is set to hide Beam contours.
Hidden Lines
Define Hidden Line attributes. Hidden Lines are used for Beams under Slabs if this is turned on at Model View Options.
See Model View Options for Construction Elements.
Beam Underneath Slab: Use Hidden Line
Use these controls to define settings for the beam’s symbolic components.
•Beam End Lines: These options let you show or hide one or both end lines of the beam. (The end line is the contour line perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the beam.)
•Always Hide Reference Axis: Check this to hide the Reference Axis of this Beam even if the Model View Option is set to show them.
•Choose a Line type and Pen color for the Beam Reference axis.
See Assign a Cover Fill.
