Revision History Data on Layout and in Layout Settings
Each Layout can display a Revision History.
This is a GDL object which must be placed on a Master Layout or directly onto a Layout. (It is available in your ARCHICAD Library, in the Graphic Symbols folder.) Use the Object Settings to customize its content and style.
The Revision History object has two predefined styles: Simple and Detailed.
Even if the Revision History object is placed on the Master Layout, its content is specific to each Layout. In other words, data in the Revision History are updated based on the current status of the particular Layout.
Note: If you place the Revision History object onto a Layout in the form of a Drawing, the Revision History data will not be “smart”. Place the object onto a Master Layout or directly onto a Drawing.
The Revision History (its detailed view) lists the Layout’s Revisions, plus all Changes associated with each Revision.
The same data is available in the Revision History panel of Layout Settings.
With the Layout window active, you can access the current Layout’s Revision History panel from the Change Manager, too:
