Add More SAF Materials to Mapping List (Export to SAF)

In the Material Mapping Panel of SAF Export Translator:

There are two ways to expand the browsable list of SAF Materials: Import a file, or add by hand.

Import SAF Material List from SAF File

This is the preferred method, because you can avoid typing errors.

1.Click SAF Materials.

2.Click the Import button.

3.Browse for an.xlsx (SAF) file prepared for this purpose. (It should contain the list of Materials used by the receiving structural analytical program.)

4.As needed, select and edit any of the materials.

5.Click OK. The chosen SAF file’s Materials are automatically added to the SAF Material list in ARCHICAD’s SAF Translator dialog.

Add or Edit SAF Materials Manually

1.Click SAF Materials.

2.Select one or more Materials from the dropdown list (these are standard SAF Material types), then click OK

Or:

3.Click Add, and enter the SAF Material name and Material type.

To edit data for any listed Material, select it in the list and click Edit.

4.Click OK.
