Resolving broken connections in MEP systems

In MEP workflows, a system can appear correct in the model while still containing broken logical connections.

These hidden issues can affect calculations, schedules, and coordination, even when ports and endpoints seem to align geometrically.

With the new Resolve MEP Connections function, MEP Designer helps restore model reliability more quickly and with less manual cleanup.

You might create open connections inadvertently - when copying a route, then connecting it to an element with a differently sized connection. Or after resizing something. Or doing a calculation that needs a transition element which you haven’t created yet.

In these cases, use the new Repair Open Connection function: It detects faulty element connections and helps you correct them quickly, and even generates a transition where needed.

The result: a reliable model with routes that behave correctly in calculations, schedules, and model coordination. For you: less cleanup, more time for design.
