Hotlinks and Design Options

Use the regular Hotlink workflow to place a module. See Place Hotlink .

When you are placing the module, you can choose specific Design Options to place from the source file.

You can also place the same module several times, using a different Design Option in each.

Elements of the placed Options must be assigned to an existing Option in the host file. But as with any hotlink, modules based on Options can be updated to follow changes in the source file. If Options are modified (e.g. deleted, renamed) in the source file, these changes will also take place in the host file after an update.
