Material Mapping - Import

Go to File > Interoperability > SAF > SAF Translators.

Use the Material Mapping - Import panel to map incoming materials (“SAF Material”) from the external software to their counterpart Archicad Building Materials.

For each SAF Material:

Click the pop-up to choose from the current Archicad project’s Building Materials.

To add more SAF materials to the mapping list, click Add.

Note: If you map incoming SAF Cross Sections to Archicad Profiles by name (Profile Mapping - Import panel), then you do not need to map their materials, because Archicad Profiles include a Building Material.
