Change GSID account of existing BIMcloud user

Use this workflow to connect an existing GSID user to a different GSID account. (For example, if the user has multiple GSID accounts, and you want them to use the one connected to your company.)

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Users and groups page of BIMcloud Manager.

  2. Select the user in the list.

  3. Click Change GSID.



  4. In the appearing dialog, enter the new GSID account email.



  5. The user receives an email invitation, containing a login link. The new GSID connection remains in pending status until the user accepts the invitation.

Notes

  • During the connection process, the user can work without interruption on Teamwork projects (no need to accept the invitation immediately, no need to log out or log in immediately.)

  • Until the user accepts the invitation, they can still use their old GSID to log in to BIMcloud. As long as their status is pending, their user name will appear in both user filters: “Graphisoft ID users”, and “Pending GSID invitation”.

  • After accepting the invitation, they must log in to Archicad again, using their new GSID credentials.

  • GSID users cannot be imported or exported. They are connected to an external service (GSID)
