Faster Design Option Switching

Improved switching performance when rebuilding viewpoints and switching between viewpoints, Renovation Filters, and Design Options, when a project uses Design Options.

In some cases up to a 90% speed improvement, when switching views, design options or regenerating the model.

This is due to refactoring in the area around junction calculation with Design Options.

Point Cloud Performance

Point cloud navigation on macOS is now back to Archicad 24–level responsiveness, keeping dense 3D scans smooth and usable in renovation and as‑built workflows. Behind the scenes, unified rendering logic and improved Metal frame handling deliver higher, more stable frame rates without changing existing point cloud tools.

Faster lib packs update on BIMcloud SaaS

Available from Archicad 29.2.

Fixed an issue that caused increased loading times of BIMcloud libraries.

General Performance Improvements

• Fixed an issue that could cause slow interactions due to the Publisher Set being active and showing DWG or similar translators - when a project has a lot of translators or slow file connection to those translators.
• Improved view and drawing update performance when using zone related properties
