Editing Custom Library Parts and Components

There are two ways to edit a GDL object saved from other elements: either edit the script, or edit the original elements:

Edit the Script

Edit the Original Elements

Edit the original elements from which you have saved the GDL library part, then re-save the library part (overwriting its previous version.)

To keep the original elements, do one of the following.

  • place them on a separate layer, then hide that layer
  • save them in a separate PLN file
  • save and export them as a module (.mod file)
