Workflow overview

Using Forma Connection involves the following steps:

1. Open Forma Connection and sign in with your Autodesk account.

2. Select a destination folder on Autodesk Forma Data Management where your uploaded content will be stored.

3. Upload your content using one or both of the following workflows:

   • Data Exchange — Upload a 3D model view from Archicad as a native Forma Data Exchange Model, with options for element grouping and property inclusion.

   • Upload Documentation — Generate and upload files from an Archicad Publisher Set (e.g., PDFs, DWGs, IFCs) to Forma.

You can run either workflow independently, or combine both in a single upload to send your model and documentation together.
