Intersect Two Elements

You can intersect two selected elements with each other by having them meet at their endpoints’ nearest point.

This command works on Lines/Polylines, Arcs, Walls, and Beams.

1.Select the two elements.

2.Choose the Edit > Reshape > Intersect command.

Notes:

This command can work only if the two elements are visible on the same story. They do not have to have the same Home Story, but they must be at least visible on the same story. (If the elements have different Home Stories, and their visibility is set to “Home Story Only,” this command will not work.)

When intersecting Lines or Polylines: if only one ends intersects after the first Intersect command, repeat the command to intersect the other ends as well.
