Navigating in IFC Project Manager: Attributes and Properties
Select a project element in the tree: for this selected item, the right side of IFC Project Manager displays:
•available IFC Attributes
•Properties grouped in Property Sets
•Classification References
In case of multi-selection, the IFC data of the last-selected element are shown.
At the top of the list, the numbers of selected/editable elements are shown.
Many IFC Property and Attribute are defined automatically, based on the Property Mapping rules defined in the IFC Translator for Export.
Filter Data Shown in IFC Project Manager
The predefined IFC data types are very numerous, and you usually don’t need to see all of them at once in IFC Project Manager. Use the two filter buttons at top right to cut down on the data shown here:
Show only Properties from Active Preview Translator
Activate this button to display only those data based on to the Property Mapping preset of the Preview Translator.
Show only Properties from Active Preview Translator (Property Mapping for IFC Export)
See also Preview Translator and Property Mapping for IFC Export.
If you do not activate this filter, then IFC Project Manager also displays any new properties created here and in the Element Settings dialog boxes, as well as custom data added during an import process.
Use this toggle to display only those data which have assigned values: that is, its checkbox is enabled.
Note: A property whose field is empty, but whose checkbox is enabled, counts as a property that has a value assigned.
