Republish Selected Items for BIMx Docs
When republishing a Hyper-model, you may wish to republish only certain items, to save publishing time. There are several ways to do this:
1.Publish Selected Items and Merge with Previous Hyper-model.
If you choose Selected Items in Publisher, ArchiCAD will publish only the selected items (layouts) and will merge these layouts into the previously published full hyper-model at the location you previously saved it.
You can then move this revised Hyper-model to your iPad via iTunes. BIMx Docs will recognize the updated contents. You will be notified of the changed items, and you can update the corresponding items of your existing Hyper-model on BIMx Docs, one by one.
This method reduces publishing time (republishes selected items only), but you have to move the whole Hyper-model to the BIMx Docs app.
2.Publish Selected Items as a New Hyper-Model.
Before publishing, remove the previously published Hyper-model from its saved location. In the Publisher, choose Selected Items. ArchiCAD will publish only the selected items as a new, smaller Hyper-model, in place of the one you deleted (or moved).
You can then move this revised Hyper-model to your iPad via iTunes. BIMx Docs will recognize the updated contents. You will be notified of the changed items, and you can update the corresponding items of your existing Hyper-model on BIMx Docs, one by one.
This method reduces publishing time (republishes selected items only), and you only have to move a relatively small Hyper-model to the BIMx app.
