Expression-Defined Element Properties

Create functional Expressions which automatically evaluate element Property values, based on one or more of the following:

•Built-in and custom properties and parameters

•An element’s model environment (e.g. data from the surrounding Zone, or that of its parent Hotlink Module)

•Global settings (e.g. Project Info).

Use a wide range of function types (many will be familiar from Excel) to generate the property values you need. Display the property values in schedules, labels, and Zone Stamps.

Note: Expressions cannot be evaluated for properties assigned to Building Materials.
