The Archicad PhotoRendering feature allows you to create photorealistic images of the 3D model.
Creating quality renderings is a complex function that depends on the interaction among:
•Surfaces
•Light effects
•Rendering settings
Archicad’s built-in Cineware Engine comes with pre-set scenes and user-friendly Basic Settings to make this process easier. Cineware is optimized to work with corresponding Surfaces (with a catalog of hundreds of predefined surfaces) and Light objects. Even if you only use the Basic-level settings, you can quickly create good renderings with a minimum of effort.
However, the full menu of Detailed Settings is also available for Cineware. These correspond to Maxon Cinema4D version R21, and incorporate most of its parameters.
The Redshift renderer (GPU based) from Maxon is included in Archicad as a Technology Preview, with limitations. See Using Redshift Renderer (Tech preview).
Photorendered images are generated in a separate picture window and cannot be edited.
Important: Photorendered images are not saved with your Project. If you wish to keep them, you have to save them manually.
