Use ARCHICAD Properties to add optional descriptive data to a building element (construction element, object-type element, or zone).
Examples of element properties:
•General Ratings (e.g. Fire Resistance Rating, Thermal Transmittance)
•Space Boundaries (e.g. headroom)
•Product Information (e.g. model, serial number, price)
For each element, its Properties are shown in the Categories and Properties panel of Element Settings.
See Assign and Edit Property Values in Element Settings.
Another, sometimes more convenient way to edit element properties is the Interactive Element Schedule.
See Assign and Edit Property Values in Element Schedule.
The ARCHICAD template comes with predefined properties, but you can use the Property Manager (Options > Property Manager) to create and delete properties and customize their availability.
See Property Manager.
What you can do with Element Properties
•List and manage them in the Interactive Schedule
•Display them in Labels, Zone Stamps, Door/Window Markers
•Import and export them among applications
•Export data structure to spreadsheet, then import property data from spreadsheets into ARCHICAD elements
Display Custom Properties in Element Label
