Beams

ARCHICAD Beams are horizontal or slanted construction elements. Basic beams have a rectangular cross-section, but you can also use a Complex Profile.

Beams can be curved, either on a horizontal plane or vertically. Like other construction elements, a Beam’s essential structure derives from its Building Material, defined in Beam Tool Settings.
